Maybe /compat/linux/opt/makemkv would be a better choice, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to put files there that don't come from a linux-c* port? opt/makemkv looked like an obvious choice, as I could put almost everything right there and people will know it's a software package with its own directory. The pathname used must not be longer than the original because I'm patching it into the makemkvcon binary with sed. I can't do that in the original location, because that wouldn't work on machines that have linsysfs mounted. ![]() Therefore I included a script to fake the relevant structure based on camcontrol output. Note: It may be necessary to delete any folders from the newly set Project Folder if they have been previously created.The "makemkvcon" binary uses /sys/bus/scsi (which isn't provided by linsysfs) to find optical drives.The paths should now be set for each folder to the default folder structure location and no longer added to the set Project Folder location. Paste the default folder location into the Path section.Individually select all of the folders that should be changed.In 3ds Max, go to Customize > Configure User Paths > File I/O tab.Copy the default 3ds Max folder structure location (C:\Users\\Documents\3dsMax).To change the location of the default folder structure created with a new Project from that of the actual set Project Folder path to that of the original Documents folder, do the following: ![]() ![]() Generally the default Project Folder location is set to: C:\Users\\Documents\3dsMax.
